A Cottage Resort for Family Fun and Fishing

We are a historical resort and marina conveniently located on the south shore of Rice Lake just 100 km east of Toronto.  We offer an affordable destination for a family vacation, fisherman’s getaway or just enjoy the abundant wildlife.  We have 11 cottages 1, 2, 3 or 5 bedrooms. Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and gas barbeque.  We also have high-speed internet access at reception.  TVs and DVDs available for nominal fee of $10/night or $40/week with unlimited free movies. 
Our marina is very well protected and offers boat rentals along with seasonal dockage. We rent fishing and pontoon boats to cottage and daily guests.  We have shore power, water, oil, ice, fishing licenses, bait, fish freezing, fish cleaning facilities and a central shower house. Replenish supplies, grab a snack and enjoy a peaceful evening on board.

$100 excess cleaning/damage deposit required

Please bring your own sheets, pillow cases, bath towels and tea towels. Sleeping on the mattress or pillow liners without linen will result in an access cleaning charge of $10.00 per bed.  Sheets are available for $15.00 each.

Reservation Policies

Deposit of forty percent (40%) of the weekly rate is required within 2 weeks of booking to secure your cottage and date of choice. Balance payable upon arrival. (Visa, MasterCard, Debit or Cash.  No Cheques at arrival). With 4 weeks notice of cancellation, your deposit will be refunded, less a $60.00 administration fee. With less notice than 4 weeks, your deposit, less a $100.00 administration fee will be refunded only if the cottage is re-booked.  No subletting permitted. No refunds for late arrival or early departure. Weekly rentals from 3:00 pm. to 10:00 am. the day of checkout. Less than weekly rentals from 4:00 pm to 11:00 am the day of checkout.
